From July 10 to 14, the best players of the popular soccer game EA SPORTS FC 24 will gather in Berlin. All with one goal: to become world champions. Rudi 'Ekmenn94' Ekmen is also in attendance and will play his group stage for the World Cup on German soil today.
Format
Rudi qualified for the main table for the EA FC Pro World Championship yesterday. On Wednesday, July 10, he and 19 other players competed for one of the eight open spots in the group stage. The 20 players were divided into groups of five, competing against each other. The four best players advanced directly to the next day, while the numbers two and three from the group stage competed against each other for a place in the remainder of the championship.
Rudi had a great run yesterday. Thus in the play-ins he won from Domasas (FK Zalgiris Vilnius) 1-6, Kossu72 (AC Oulu) 8-4, Guillem14 (Club Deportes La Serena) 3-4 and a crushing 10-0 against Buzzinho of Selangor FC.
From today until Saturday, a classic tournament schedule will be followed with a group stage, knockout stage and final. On Saturday, July 13, we will know who is the first FC Pro World Champion. Today Rudi plays his matches for the group stage which can be followed along live from 2 p.m. onwards.
