Man United beats Watford 3-0

Manchester United kept the three points home following a 3-0 win over Watford. Club's European opponent moves to fifth place in the Premier League.

The Mancunians were desperate to bag all three points in their home game against Watford, with Christian Kabasele in the starting eleven.

Just before the half-time whistle Bruno Fernandes broke deadlock from the spot after he had been brought down by goalkeeper Foster. It was the first goal for the Portugese international since his arrival end of January.

At the start of the second half Troy Deeney's equaliser was disallowed due to handball and on the other side of the pitch Anthony Martial doubled the lead. Mason Greenwood completed the scoring with a goal on the break.

Deulofeu had the best chance for the Hornets, but his efffort ended up against the post.

Thanks to this win Man United move up to fifth place in the Premier League. They are just three points behind fourth place which would earn them a spot in the Champions League. (VM)
