Michiel Jonckheere will be the new head coach of Club NXT U18. He comes over from KV Oostende.
As a player, Jonckheere (34) went through several youth series at Blauw-Zwart, after which he defended the logo of KV Oostende and KV Kortrijk as a professional footballer. About two years ago, Jonckheere put his shoes on the hook and started his coaching career with Ostend's U18 team. Michiel advanced to assistant coach of the first team and jumped in as interim head coach the last two games. Yesterday he scored another 3-2 victory against SV Zulte Waregem. Now he makes the move to Club NXT.
Former U18 coach Hayk Milkon moves on to the A core where he takes Kristof Aelbrecht's (now T3) role as Talent Coach. Mitch Delcour, assistant at U18, will assist Nicky Hayen at U23. Jarne Kesteloot also makes the move from the Kustboys and becomes video analyst at Club A.
