All eyes were on the Champions League draw in Geneva last night. Some of the players and the coach gathered at the Belfius Basecamp to watch the draw. Club supporters were also able to witness the special moment via Club's Facebook and YouTube page, along with their favorite players.
Hosts Leo Van der Elst and Justine Rombaut and by extension the entire Club Media House team provided a one-and-a-half-hour live show with extensive previews and reviews, a nice look back at last season's Champions League campaign and extensive reactions from players and coach.
And whether the broadcast caught on. No fewer than 340,000 fans saw Club end up in Group F, with Lazio, Zenit and Dortmund.
Earlier this year, more than 350,000 living rooms watched VR Bruges, the largest virtual championship show. Friendly matches during the past summer period also provided great numbers with an average of more than 200,000 supporters per match.
