It's almost Champions League time again. Tomorrow night, Club will know its opponents in the group stage of the Champions League, but right now there can still be dreams about nice moves or attainable tickets. Noa Lang's preference? Manchester City, PSG & Ajax!
"City is just a very good team under Pep Guardiola. They play very good soccer and it's a very nice challenge to compete with that," Lang says. From the second pot, he would love to see Paris Saint-Germain come out on top.
"That speaks for itself. Then you play against Neymar, Messi, Mbappé, Di Maria, Verratti, Ramos, . need I go on?" His choice of Ajax was also quickly established. "It's my ex-club, of course I would really like that. If we would have a draw like I want, we really need our supporters. Against Beerschot and even with half a stadium you immediately noticed the difference."
How he assesses the chances then? "It's more fun when you play against very good opponents, then you know whether you can measure up. Of course it is difficult to advance, but it is Champions League, nothing is easy. This is my dream draw and that doesn't change anything about my goal of wintering in the Champions League."
