Coach Philippe Clement is stepping down from Club Brugge to join top French club AS Monaco. As coach, Clement (47) became 2 times national champion with Blauw-Zwart.
Philippe Clement spent 10 years with Club as a player. After a brief passage at Beerschot AC, Clement returned to Jan Breydel in 2011 as the promises coach. From 2012 to 2017, Clement was assistant coach under Juan Carlos Garrido and Michel Preud'homme. Since 2019, Philippe Clement was head coach of Club Brugge. As coach, he won 2 national titles and 1 supercup at Club and now gets his chance at top French club AS Monaco.
