Dutchman Robin Veldman will be the new head coach of Club NXT U23 until the end of the season.
Veldman (38) began his coaching career with the youth of Heerenveen and Ajax, before making the move to RSC Anderlecht. There he coached the 'Futures' for one season in 1B, took the helm for six matches as interim coach of the A-core and a little later became assistant coach to Brian Riemer. After his last assignment in the Schottish Championship at Queen's Park, he now returns to Belgium. Veldman takes over the role until the end of the season from Nicky Hayen who is head coach ad interim of Club A following the departure of Ronny Deila.
Robin Veldman will be supported at U23 by the same staff. Bart Plasschaert will move on from the U16 and become head coach U18, now that Michiel Jonckheere is assistant coach ad interim at Club A.
