Vermant (19) has been at Club Brugge since 2009 when he joined the U7. He made his professional debut in 2021 when Club NXT played in the Belgian second division.
His performances didn't go unnoticed and halfway this season he moved to the first team. Soon he made his debut for Club's first team in our away match at Kortrijk. Last weekend the forward assisted Nielsen for the Dane's second goal in the 2-0 win against Antwerp.
Romeo is the son of former Club player Sven Vermant. Also his grandfather Eric Van Vyve and his father Marcel Van Vyve played for the blue and black.
Romeo Vermant has now put pen to paper to sign a new long-term deal.
