The match at AA Gent was the first defeat of Club Brugge in the Jupiler Pro League this season. Club coach Ronny Deila made a sober analysis afterwards.
“Gent started well and controlled the match during the first 20 minutes. We then came into the match. We turned the match around, created good crosses and scored a beautiful goal. We did the same thing during the second half. We still created a few chances but we didn't score anmyore. In my opinion, this was a very good game. After a match like Thursday for both teams, we saw a very high pace in the game. Obviously we are disappointed but there are still many matches this season. We have to learn from this and improve towards the next matches. In the end though, I am happy with the effort that was shown today." (WD)
