The Golden Shoe gala kicked off with a first prize for Club Brugge. Siebe Schrijvers scored the goal of the year in late December at the Christmas match against Antwerp. The Limburger took it from Vanaken and Malinovskyi.
The one-time lob made a lot of mouths drop open at Jan Breydel, even the fans chose Schrijvers as the most beautiful goal of 2018 ⚽.
