Simon Mignolet: “Kudos to Club Brugge”

Club Brugge ended the match with a clean sheet, the fourth consecutive time. The Blues had to thank Simon Mignolet for that. The goalkeeper was the Man of the Match with a couple of crucial saves. Hence, he was smiling after the match when talking to the press.

“This is unbelievable. It has not yet sunk in, I think. I even saved one ball with my head. I just tried to stop each ball. This shows how we are: we go for it every match again. I had to make a lot of saves but a goalkeeper is important for the team. We defended well and then I sometimes have to intervene as well. Four clean sheets in a row and a qualification for the next round after four fixtures, that is incredible. Kudos to Club Brugge." (EV)
