Just like against Genk, Club Brugge did not get beyond a 1-1 draw against STVV. So again no clean sheet for Simon Mignolet, who as always made a sober analysis after the game.
"This is a disappointing result," the Bruges lock immediately interjected. "Offensively we played quite well in the first half, but defensively we just gave away too much, resulting in instability within the team. At halftime, the coach made some tactical adjustments. We took an immediate lead early in the second half and put much better pressure on the visitors, giving less away ourselves. Although it has to be said that we did not have any big chances to make it 2-0. We were also unlucky to equalize as Koita's shot deflected slightly. This draw therefore tastes very sour."
To the comment that he again could not keep the zero, Mignolet was clear : "I'm not concerned in itself with those clean sheets, I just want to win games with Club. But at the moment we're too much into draws. With a bit more determination we'll get four wins in a row." (MV)
