An emotional Thibault Vlietinck was very pleased with his equalizer against Anderlecht. The young winger came on just after the 2-1 and was able to score within a minute.
"Scoring your first goal in the league here is a fantastic feeling, especially after my injury. It has been tough months for me, but today makes up for everything. When I scored, I didn't really know what to do. You see everyone coming at you and you see the supporters going wild. For me, it's the first time experiencing this, and it's pure enjoyment."
Despite the euphoria, Vlietinck remains grounded about the whole situation: "There was definitely more in it today to finally win here again. But we just have to be positive about this point and continue working from tomorrow to finish off the rest of the season well." (JDN)
