Club started the cup match with quite a few youngsters in the starting lineup. One of them was Thomas Van Den Keybus. The midfielder covered a lot of kilometers and could look back on a fine performance.
"Of course it is always nice when you start as a youngster," said the 19-year-old Bruges midfielder. "Finally, it was a pleasant cup match and now it's on to the next matches of course. Everyone is clearly physically fit and that's very important because there are a lot of matches coming up in the next few weeks. The only downside, for me at least, was that missed chance. Too bad about that ball on the underside of the crossbar, but hopefully it will be for the next game I get to play in. Obviously this playing opportunity tastes like more, but I know I have to stay patient and take the chances when they come." (FDC)
