Work permit approved, José Izquierdo to Brighton & Hove Albion

Today José Izquierdo's work permit was approved which means the transfer of the 2016 Golden Booth to Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion can be finalized.

38 goals in 3 years for Club

Izquierdo signed for Club Brugge in the Summer of 2014 and adapted quickly with 13 goals and 7 assists in his first season. The Colombian was of great value in the following season as well, especially in the Play-Offs. With his rushes towards goal, goals and assists he played an important part in Club's fourteenth league win. And his performance wasn't only rated highly by the fans, in February 2017 he was crowned with the Golden Booth

After three seasons with Club Brugge he is now ready for his next step. José Izquierdo leaves the Blues with a title, cup and a supercup win to join Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion. Izquierdo will see Maty Ryan again there who made the switch from La Liga as he left Valencia this Summer.

We thank Joske for what he's done for Club Brugge and we wish him all the best in the Premier League!
