Piet Cremers has been the head coach of Club NXT since 2026–2027. 

Piet Cremers joined the club from the Welsh national team, where he served as an assistant coach. The 31-year-old Dutchman has extensive international experience in top-level soccer. Since 2013, he has held various leadership roles on the coaching staffs of clubs including Excelsior, NAC Breda, Brentford, Burnley, and Manchester City. At the top English club, he worked as Head of Performance Analysis & Insights under Pep Guardiola. Later, Cremers was part of Vincent Kompany’s staff at Burnley as an assistant coach.

With his expertise in talent development, evidence-based approaches, and coaching, he strengthens Club NXT U23’s ambition to develop talent in a more targeted manner—talent that, in line with the club’s soccer philosophy, can progress to Club Brugge’s first team.
