Alfred Schreuder: “Compliments to my team!"

Coach Alfred Schreuder was of course a happy man after the easy win.

“First of all, I want to compliment my team", started the coach. "The guys approached the match in a very good and professional way. We played in the right way with high intensity. As a consequence, we are very happy with this 0-5 victory." It was a perfect moment to substitute players after our third goal.  “Sandra, De Ketelaere and Dost appeared on the pitch and Dost could also score. We agreed upfront that Charles would certainly play a bit and our attackers have of course played three tough matches the past couple of weeks. So you also want to bring fresh players and they did it well." The coach also said a few words about Noa Lang. "There was no reason why he immediately went inside after he was substituted. It is a pity that this happens after such a beautiful evening." The coach praised Skov Olsen. "It is nice to see how our new players (Skov Olsen, Buchanan, Odoi and Adamyan) adapt themselves. Andreas of course played a wonderful match. The first goal is important of course and it looked easy. He scored in a wonderful way. In short: a good player for Club Brugge." The coach also looked back at the elimination in the Croky Cup. "This victory does not neutralise last Wednesday's disappointment. It is very pity but we have to leave it behind us. We cannot turn the situation around anymore. We have to look towards the future and are now very satisfied with this victory. First of all, we want to qualify for Play-Off I and then we want to win the Championship of course. Now we first have to focus on Ostend and we will look further afterwards", decided a satisfied Alfred Schreuder. (TM)
