The award of the game's MVP went to Andreas Skov Olsen. Even if the Danish winger had trouble getting to his finest level, he managed to score that deserved equaliser with a fine curled shot.
"A peculiar game, in difficult circumstances. The pitch wasn't exactly great, the ball bounced slightly with each contact." The Dane is convinced Club was the better team and could have come out on top. "Give it ten more minutes, and we always win this game. We were the better outfit in the second half."
As to his gaol, Skov Olsen was clear. "It may not have been my best performance, but you always have to be ready. Particularly in games like this you don't get all too many chances."
With two assists and five goals so far, Skov Olsen is off to a fine start of the season. "It was a tough season last year, but I'm happy to still be at Club. I love the fans, we have a great t eam, and I'm playing with confidence. The coach also likes to see me play." (WD)
