With two goals and as many assists, Andrea Skov Olsen was the indisputable "man of the match" in the cup match at Beerschot. It visibly pleased the Dane a lot.
"My first goal was actually handed to me on a silver platter, but my second goal on the other hand I kicked in neatly into the cross," the winger said in a first reaction. "This obviously gives me a lot of pleasure, but in the end the team's interests prevail where qualification was the only objective. We played a good, say professional game today, which was actually already played at halftime. After the break it came down to keeping control and playing it out quietly."
Meanwhile, Skov Olsen is also already looking forward to next Sunday's topper against league leader Union : "We can draw enough confidence from this match. We managed to keep the score zero ourselves, picked up a number of goals and were also able to spare a number of basic players, myself included. Although we are well aware that Sunday's opposition will be of a completely different level." (MV)
