Goalkeeper Axl De Corte has extended his contract with Club Brugge until 2028. The 19-year-old started his career at KV Mechelen and joined Club Brugge’s youth academy in 2018. In May 2022, at the age of sixteen, he signed his first professional contract with the Blues. In 2023, De Corte made his debut for Club NXT in the Challenger Pro League. Since then, he has played 27 matches for Club NXT U23, appeared 3 times in the UEFA Youth League, and made his debut for Belgium’s U19 team in September 2024.
At the start of the 2025–2026 season, De Corte officially joined Club Brugge’s first team.
He has now extended his contract with the Blues until 2028.
