Club Brugge and Philippe Clement continue collaboration

Philippe Clement will be Club Brugge's head coach next season.

Club Brugge and coach Philippe Clement continue their succesful collaboration. Clement's current three-year contract was changed into an indefinite duration contract. After the two titles in 2020 and 2021, Club and coach Clement will once again look for success in the domestic and European competition next season.

Philippe Clement: “I'm thrilled to be Club's head coach next year. In my eighteen years at Club I've had the pleasure to create a lot of great memories, but I still see great challenges for this club in the near future. Challenges that motivate me. I can't wait for the next football season to start, hopefully with our fans in the stands."

Vincent Mannaert (General manager): “We are delighted to annouce that Philippe will be our head coach next year. It was clear from our many conversations that we still share the same ambitions and that we hope to realize them together. Philippe is a top coach who knows our club inside and out and can work in the multidisciplinary environment that Club Brugge is today. By converting his remaining deal in a contract of indefinite duration, we allow both parties to build in evaluation moments without being tied to a predetermined number of seasons."
