"We didn't dare dream this. Especially not with the numbers that were on the scoreboard at the end. We came for the three points, but if you can achieve it this way, you can be proud," laughed Club's left back.
This performance clearly did a lot of good. "It was an overall team performance. Both defensively and offensively we were good. The defense was stable and therefore didn't have much work either. That kind of thing is important in an away game, because chances come at the other end anyway."
With the Bodø/Glimt win, Blauw-Zwart is not yet sure of the group win. In two weeks, the Norwegians will come to the Jan Breydelstadion. "It is unfortunate that we are not yet sure tonight," De Cuyper said, "but then we have to make sure we finish it ourselves in that last match. If we can put in the same performance as today, it should be possible."
"It was the moment to build confidence. Especially when you score again so early in the second half, you can give different players minutes and confidence, players who can then score goals and give assists.
