Nicky Hayen signs an indefinite contract as head coach of Club Brugge.
Hayen (43) has been working for Club Brugge since 2022. The Limburger started as trainer of Club NXT and was assistant to the A-core under Rik De Mil for several months in 2023. Hayen then returned to NXT to become head coach ad interim at Club 1 in March of this year. Under his leadership, Club completed an unprecedented run in the Play-Offs and Blauw-Zwart won its 19th national title. So Hayen, together with Milkon and Jonckheere, will continue to lead the A-core next season.
Robin Veldman (38) took over from Nicky Hayen as head coach of Club NXT in March. Veldman will also remain with Club next season. The Dutchman signed a contract for an indefinite period.
