"I'm thrilled and thankful to announce that Philippe joins Club once again. Throughout the years I've known Philippe as a professional. He has all the qualitaties that are needed to be succesful and he has a big heart for Club Brugge. He has plenty of experience as player, assistant player and head coach. This is a logical next step in his career.
We look forward to work together with Philippe to make our beautiful club even more beautiful."
"First of all, I want to thank KRC Genk for the fantastic time and winning the title with them. It wasn't an easy choise for me to make, as I carry both teams in my heart.
Eventually, I made the decission to come back to Club. I won silverware with Genk as a player and as a head coach, now it's time for me to win prizes with Club as the head coach. I look forward to continue with the professionalization of the club with the new training centre at Westkapelle."
Club Brugge and Philippe Clement will now further discuss who will join the staff. There will be a press conference on Wednesday.
