Despite two assists, Bjorn Meijer returned to the game visibly disappointed. Read his initial reaction here.

"We started really well. Those first twenty minutes were very strong from us. Afterwards, too much sloppiness crept into our play."
After the good start, the level of play and tempo went down. "We were already making it difficult for ourselves during the first half. Once out of the locker room you actually want that level of those first minutes back, but then you have two goals against that shouldn't happen. This is really galling."
"At halftime we had agreed to start as sharp, it wasn't down to that. The intentions were good, but on the pitch it didn't come out". he looked back in disappointment.
Club seemed to have the sheep on dry land. "At 0-2 it's never in. Certainly not here. You can think that at 5-0, of course, but not at 0-2. They scored quickly after halftime, but then you have to stay sharp."
Just before the 1-2, the left back had the chance for the 0-3 at his feet, but he kicked over the ball. "I'm going to wake up from this a lot. I really should have made this one, but I miss incomprehensibly." he was clearly balking like hell.
Nicky Hayen
Blauw-Zwart gave away a double lead against Beerschot and eventually had to settle for a draw. Coach Hayen was therefore not satisfied afterwards. "For me, this is a problem of attitude," the coach began his analysis.
"I think the first 20 minutes we really did an excellent job. We didn't let them get into their game at all and dominated the game at that point. We scored two good goals and then we took our foot off the gas pedal."
That's not the first time that's happened this season, but for me this time it was also compounded by a problem with attitude. It was like it was all running too easy and we mentioned that very clearly in the locker room at halftime. If you keep doing this the same, and they playing to their spy head, then you can get into trouble. Unfortunately, that has proven to be the case. "However, there are enough experienced players on the field who could sense this. "Absolutely, but then I see that didn't happen today. We didn't wake up until it was 2-2 and actually too late. Just had to do that at the first whistle after halftime. All credit to Beerschot, though, because they scored the way they play and with the grinta they have in recent weeks. We warned the group about that, but still we shot in our own foot today." Al-Sahafi was Club's bogeyman in the second half. "He obviously has his qualities with his speed and individual action, among other things. Our defenders were prepared for that and the only thing we said was to never play on the same line. Then when you look at how we swallow that first goal, all two of them are on the same line and there is no back cover. Then with a very simple long ball over our defense it was box office. Those are mistakes that shouldn't happen at this level. "Seys fell out injured in the second half and was in a lot of pain. "I can't say much more about it yet, but I do know they just carried him in there. Let's hope this won't be a long-term injury," Club's coach concluded.
