Coach De Mil also returned briefly to the altercation between Lang and Alderweireld. "Obviously it's unfortunate that Noa(Lang) is suspended next week. I honestly thought that yellow card was undeserved and a misinterpretation by the referee. Alderweireld and Lang are two mature players who briefly clashed, but they solved this themselves. Then I thought this should just be resolved calmly by the ref instead of immediately giving yellow. However apart from that I focus mainly on how the group stood up today. I am very proud of that as a coach after last week's beating."
Finally, there was a word on the substitution of Yaremchuk. "Roman (Yaremchuk) comes from a period where he was sick for a long time and heavily, and he had cramps at the end. That's the reason I brought him to the side. With that, I thanked him for his efforts because I also know what he has been through this season. However, this week he trained very well, so that's why I let him start today as well.
