A win by the narrowest of margins for Club Brugge against Oud-Heverlee Leuven, but a gratifying one nonetheless.
"This feels good", Club's skipper started out. "You want that fine start after the international break, particularly in view of the hefty programme we've got lined up before the Christmas break. A deserved win for sure. The only thing we could have done better, was decide the game earlier on, scoring that liberating second faster. That truly was an outstanding strike by Jutglá, with great timing too, just befor the break. These three points, and the clean sheet, should boost our confidence as we steam through these winter weeks."
With Standard, Gent and Union on the menu, Blue and Black can expect some fervent competition in December. To boot, Club Brugge will be making its way towards Istanbul on Thursday where it will meet with local Besiktas, and another Conference League game follows two weeks later against Bodø/Glimt.
