With the win against Oud-Heverlee, Club Brugge resumed excellently after the international break. Coach Ronny Deila therefore seemed satisfied in his reaction afterwards.
"I am happy after this match," started Ronny Deila. "We played a good first half, completely on their half. We created chances from which we eventually scored a very nice goal. In the second half we also had periods where we played well, but OHL did become more dangerous, especially along the flanks. That's why I switched to a different lineup in the last 25 minutes. After that, we had complete control. But it's always dangerous when you don't finish your chances like today. Opponents can always grab something at the end of the game. OHL had the chance in the 93rd minute. Had they scored that chance, it would have been a very bitter pill. This was a good performance today, and we deserved this victory.
