Roman Yaremchuk, originally from Ukraine, received his training at Dynamo Kiev. From July to December 2016, he was loaned out by Dynamo Kiev to FV Oleksandria before returning to Dynamo Kiev. On 16 August 2017, he signed a four-year deal at KAA Gent. He made his debut on 27 August 2017, being a substitute in the match Gent-Anderlecht.
During his time at KAA Gent, he made a remarkable impact, contributing to 79 goals in 152 appearances. The Ukrainian international then made a high-profile transfer to Portuguese club Benfica. Yaremchuk found the back of the net 9 times there, including three goals in the Champions League group stage.
In the summer of 2022, he signed a four-year contract with Blauw-Zwart.
