On Saturday, May 20, the annual Club Brugge G-Tournament took place on the fields at the Jan Breydel Stadium. 26 teams, representing 350 G-soccer players, came down to the Jan Breydel Stadium. The atmosphere was positive and the sun was shining.
Everyone wins
G soccer is soccer for people with mental and/or physical disabilities. At the G-tournament, the result of the matches is of the least importance. Fairplay, fun and an atmospheric day were paramount. Based on the level of play of the G-soccer players, the teams were divided into pools. This allowed everyone to enjoy the game equally. Each team was a winner and thus received a cup to take home!
