Club wins practice game 3-0 over OH Leuven

Blauw-Zwart started with the following eleven: Jackers, De Cuyper, De Roeve, Boyata, Odoi, Balanta, Da Silva, Vanaken, Homma, Barberá & Jutglà.

Under a warm sun in Westkapelle, Club started the match eagerly. It was waiting until the 11th minute for the first big chance of the match. Play was cleverly shifted from flank through Homma and Barberá, followed by a cross from the right, but Jutglà headed over.

In the 24th minute, another chance for Jutglà, but the Spaniard kicked wide. After that the game fell silent for a while and it was waiting for another goal. On the stroke of halftime, the same Jutglà again created danger. This time a header, but the ball ended up in the goalkeeper's hands.

Second Half

Club Brugge came out of the locker room for the second half with some different players. De Cuyper, Da Silva and Vanaken stayed in and were replaced by Willems, Bisiwu & Nielsen.

After five minutes of play in the second half, the first goal of the match fell. Barberá tapped the ball in nicely and put the 1-0 on the board. In the 54th minute, it was prize again. Bisiwu outsmarted the Leuven defender and kicked the ball over the Leuven goalkeeper in goal. In the 50th minute, Club scored again. Odoi played the ball well to Jutglà, who crossed the ball for Homma. The Japanese player finished well, scoring the third goal.

After the goals, some substitutions were made: Balanta, Homma and Jutglà went to the side for Granados, Zinckernagel and Thiago. After 72 minutes, Boyata was also allowed to rest, Simba was his replacement. De Roeve was also substituted for Liam De Smet.

Barberá was allowed to rest after a strong game and was replaced by Salah. OH Leuven was able to set up once more, but it did not trouble Jackers. Back to the other side for a Club counterattack: Salah set up a nice action and played the ball towards De Smet. His cross ended up with Thiago, but the striker just couldn't work the ball in. The OH Leuven goalkeeper was well placed.
