FCBike: come to Club-Antwerp by bike

The Flemish spring classics are behind us, spring is in the country and the Play-Offs are starting to get into full swing. The ideal time to take your bike to Club Brugge - Antwerp next Sunday. With the Foundation project 'FCBike' we are making cycling on match day even more the ideal means of supporter transport.

More than 2,000 cyclists every match

An extensive bicycle count during past matches showed that more than 2,000 Club fans prefer to travel by bicycle to the Jan Breydel Stadium on match days. During the 'FCBike Survey', in which more than 500 fans participated, the cycling Clubfans indicated that especially the convenience of avoiding parking problems and the easy accessibility make them choose to come by bike. Health benefits and environmental friendliness were also decisive factors. Fans were less satisfied with the limited number of bicycle racks and the availability of lockers to store helmets, rucksacks or cycling clothes. With this useful feedback, Club Brugge Foundation set to work.

Extra bicycle parking facilities at North & West

In order to be able to safely park more bicycles, additional bicycle parking facilities will be placed during Club Brugge vs Antwerp on the North side - near ticket office block North - and West side - near ticket office block West.

Free bicycle repair service at North parking

To encourage fans to arrive safely by bike, we are organizing a free bike repair service prior to Club-Antwerp at the North parking lot, across from the Club Shop, where you can have your bike tires inflated pit stop-wise and your bike chain lubricated by Group Intro staff.

If desired they will also give your bike a quick scan with advice on what further repairs should be done at a bike shop. That way your bike will be back in top condition.

Use a Blue-bike
