Club started the first game of the season with numerous Club NXT players, along with the more experienced players such as Zinckernagel, Boyata and captain Nielsen.

First half: De Corte, De Roeve, Yameogo, Boyata, Seys, Goemaere, Nielsen, Zinckernagel, Talbi, Vermant and Barberá

The game got off to a quiet start, but Blauw-Zwart increasingly played their way into the match. Vermant was close on two occasions shortly before halftime. The first time the Knokke goalkeeper Goblet was still standing, the second time the ball flew just over, after a fine individual action by Talbi.

Second Half

Lineup second half: Vanden Driessche, Wylin, Et-Taïbi, Willems, Lenn De Smet, Granados, Liam De Smet, Bisiwu, Lund Jensen, Barberá and Da Silva

The second half started with ten new names, with only Barberá remaining for a while. The Spaniard played the first half on the left flank. After halftime, he led the attack as a striker. Club took the initiative and it was rewarded for it. After fifteen minutes well into the second half, Bisiwu was found by Lund Jensen, after which Bisiwu took the ball on the slipper: 0-1.

The home team countered with several counters. In the end, the Knokkeners were also awarded the prize. Fifteen minutes before time the equalizer was on the board. Lars Cooman lobbed the ball over Van Den Driessche. Thus ended our first preparation match at 1-1.

Next week, Saturday, July 6, the match against AEK Athens is scheduled. The match will be played behind closed doors at Basecamp.
